Today is my birthday and instead of only celebrating myself, I want to share something that has been burning in my spirit for years.
I want to talk about money and not just as paper, numbers in an account, or status, but as a force that responds to principles, value, trust, discipline, relationships, stewardship, strategy, and authority.
People have watched Pamtech grow and seen the filling stations, trucks, workshops, spare parts, luxury rides, properties, media, team, and other things God has helped us build.
But what people often see is the result.
What they don’t always see is the spiritual, mental, emotional, relational, and strategic discipline behind the money.
I have come to understand that money does not obey everybody.
Money obeys value.
Money obeys trust.
Money obeys order.
Money obeys discipline.
Money obeys relationships.
Money obeys strategy.
Money obeys stewardship.
And money respects the person who has developed authority over appetite, fear, pressure, confusion, and careless decisions.
Many people receive money every day and still remain broke because there is no order, no system, no assignment, and no discipline. So, money passes through their hands and leaves no evidence behind.
That is why I believe poverty is not only the absence of money in your bank accounts.
Poverty can also live in your thinking, habits, words, relationships, decisions, lack of records, fear, and inability to create value.
Many of us are busy trying to command money by shouting, but you do not command money by shouting and praying about money.
You command money by aligning yourself with the principles and laws that create, preserve, and multiply it.
This is also why I am careful about confession.
Don’t use your mouth to bury the future your hands are trying to build.
“Nothing works.”
“I am broke.”
“Nigeria has finished us.”
“People like us cannot make it.”
Please, be careful with the words of your mouth. Your words can shape your expectations, and your expectations influence your decisions.
Now, there are some principle, laws, rules that remains non-negotiable.....
Money follows value.
If you want money to move toward you, solve problems.
Solve painful problems.
Solve repeated problems.
Solve expensive problems.
Solve problems people are already looking for answers to.
At Pamtech, we did not just want to sell fuel, fix cars, sell spare parts, properties, media, or technology.
We are solving mobility problems, building trust, give people peace, and create value they could believe in.
Money also follows trust.
Here in Niaja, many people have been disappointed, trust itself is a premium product.
When people trust your word, your service, your process, and your character, money moves faster.
Money follows relationships too.
Customers are people.
team members are people.
Investors are people.
Partners are people.
Referrals are people.
If you keep damaging people, you may be damaging financial doors and calling it bad luck.
Money also follows order.
Money can enter disorder, but it rarely stays there.
No records.
No budget.
No accountability.
No cash-flow review.
No separation between business and personal money.
Then one day you ask, “Where did all the money go?” Disorder swallowed it.
Money follows stewardship too.
Before asking God for more, ask yourself.... What did I do with the last one?
Did I track it?
Did I preserve some as seed?
Did I invest?
Did I multiply it?
Did I build something useful?
Or did I consume everything trying to look successful?
Remember this.... Every money is not bread. Some money is seed.
If you eat every seed that enters your hand, your future will keep begging for harvest.
So on my birthday today, I am asking myself deeper questions.....
What has money done through me?
Who became better because money passed through my hands?
What jobs did it create?
What businesses did it build?
What problems did it solve?
What lives did it touch?
Because money must not only make you look successful. It must also make you look useful.
Don’t just chase money, become valuable enough for money to have a reason to find you.
As I enter another year of my life, I am not only asking for more money.
I am asking God for more wisdom, more capacity, more discipline, better stewardship, greater impact, and more people lifted through what He puts in my hands.
My birthday message is simple.... Money is a spirit and will not stay with the person who only knows how to spend it.
Money stays longer with the person who understands the authority and knows how to direct it.
