Fixed Deposits or Other Savings Plans:
Put money aside every month towards a specific goal by locking it away or keeping it separate from your regular spending account.
HOW: Platforms such as PalmPay, OPay, Cowrywise, PiggyVest, Jollof+, and others offer various savings options.

Money Market Funds:
Investing regularly in relatively low-risk investments that can generate returns.
HOW: Many commercial banks have asset management companies that offer money market funds, and there are also other licensed investment platforms.

Mutual Funds:
There are different types of mutual funds, including equity funds, balanced funds, and others, each with different levels of risk and potential returns.

Pension Funds:
If you are self-employed, you can consider making regular pension contributions. Think of it as paying yourself a pension every month.
HOW: You can do this through pension managers such as FCMB Pensions, Leadway Pensure, Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers, GTCO Pension Managers, and others.

FGN Savings Bonds:
The Federal Government offers FGN Savings Bonds for individuals to invest in, with a relatively low minimum investment.
HOW: You can invest through your bank or licensed investment platforms.

Real Estate:
I've said it before, and I'm saying it again: Get your first plot of land in 2026. If you already have one, you can consider building on it. Put some money aside every month towards this goal.

Small Businesses:
If you plan to start a business, perhaps in 2027, you can start putting money aside for it every month.
