See ehn, there is no nobility in poverty. Do everything legitimately possible to escape poverty. When you are poor, life becomes unnecessarily harder, so the goal is to work smart, stay consistent, and find a legitimate way out as fast as possible.

Moving to a 2M apartment might fail not because the location is useless.

It might failed because you moved with HOPE… not with a PLAN.

A lot of people think success is about location alone... thus some japa too

Though this post isn't about japa though

“If I move closer to rich people, opportunities will come.”
No.
Opportunity doesn’t chase broke-minded people. It rewards VALUE.

You can live in the richest area in Lagos or Port Harcourt and still be broke.

Why?

Because proximity without positioning is useless.

If you move to a 2M rent apartment but:

You have no skill
No valuable offer
No network strategy
No clear plan to monetize relationships

Then you’re just paying expensive rent to remain broke in a nicer environment.

Rich people don’t just give you money because you live close.

You need something they need.

Value opens doors. Not hypes. Not packaging. Not location alone.

The guy was probably busy playing ball, flexing, and feeling like he had “arrived.”

Meanwhile, the real hustlers were building, networking, selling, and solving problems.

You don’t change your life by changing your address only.
You change your life by changing your value.

Location matters. But who you are matters more.

Read that again.
 
Please don’t give up ooo, hmmm… because after all the tears, stress, and silent battles, you cannot now leave when victory is already checking your address.
 
The habit of saving is more important than the amount you save.

If you cannot save from ₦100,000, saving from ₦500,000 may still be difficult.

Start with 30%
If that's too much, start with 10%.

The goal is to build consistency.

Don't wait until you earn "big money" before developing good financial habits.
