See ehn, there is no nobility in poverty. Do everything legitimately possible to escape poverty. When you are poor, life becomes unnecessarily harder, so the goal is to work smart, stay consistent, and find a legitimate way out as fast as possible.

Moving to a 2M apartment might fail not because the location is useless.

It might failed because you moved with HOPE… not with a PLAN.

A lot of people think success is about location alone... thus some japa too

Though this post isn't about japa though

“If I move closer to rich people, opportunities will come.”
No.
Opportunity doesn’t chase broke-minded people. It rewards VALUE.

You can live in the richest area in Lagos or Port Harcourt and still be broke.

Why?

Because proximity without positioning is useless.

If you move to a 2M rent apartment but:

You have no skill
No valuable offer
No network strategy
No clear plan to monetize relationships

Then you’re just paying expensive rent to remain broke in a nicer environment.

Rich people don’t just give you money because you live close.

You need something they need.

Value opens doors. Not hypes. Not packaging. Not location alone.

The guy was probably busy playing ball, flexing, and feeling like he had “arrived.”

Meanwhile, the real hustlers were building, networking, selling, and solving problems.

You don’t change your life by changing your address only.
You change your life by changing your value.

Location matters. But who you are matters more.

Read that again.
 
Please don’t give up ooo, hmmm… because after all the tears, stress, and silent battles, you cannot now leave when victory is already checking your address.
 
The habit of saving is more important than the amount you save.

If you cannot save from ₦100,000, saving from ₦500,000 may still be difficult.

Start with 30%
If that's too much, start with 10%.

The goal is to build consistency.

Don't wait until you earn "big money" before developing good financial habits.

Small, consistent savings can grow into something meaningful over time.

Remember:
Your income determines how much you can save.
Your discipline determines whether you save at all.

No matter how small your salary is, pay yourself first.
SAVE.
 
Your job is what pays your bills.

It puts food on the table.
Pays the rent.
Covers transportation.
Funds your savings and investments.

Value it.
Take it seriously.

Many people want financial freedom, but they neglect the very source of income that can help them achieve it.

Be punctual.
Be productive.
Keep learning.
Develop valuable skills.
Become difficult to replace.

At the same time, keep improving yourself and preparing for greater opportunities.

Never look down on honest work.

Your job may not make you rich overnight, but it can provide the foundation upon which wealth is built.

Protect it.
Value it.
Take it seriously.

And most of the times, you don't have any intention of paying back.


No wonder they hide their success from you.
 
The older you get, the more you realize luck is just exposure.

If you sit in the same chair, same routine, talking to the same people, nothing new happens.

You have to leave your comfort space to win.

Travel more.

Talk to strangers.

Try a new hanging out spot.

Post on social media.

Start a side hustle.

The world rewards motion.

You don't find opportunity sitting in one place.
 
Pursue education relentlessly: attend school, persevere, and graduate. Excel if possible. Ensure your CGPA can flash other phone networks. Education is a universal equalizer. It remains one of the most reliable paths to a dignified life.
 
There is an unfair advantage
the rich has over the poor.

It is just too unfair. The playing
field is not leveled at all. Life is
actually unfair!!!

The knowledge gap, the leverage
gap and the opportunity is far too
much.

The gap is just too wide.

It is very hard for a poor man to be rich.
Except for a few exceptions (20:80)

Thankfully, the Internet has made the hardness
a bit softer. Please take full advantage of the internet 🙏

Don't wait for open doors.
Jump in through windows.

Don't wait for fire.
Pour petrol on smoke.

May favour find your hardwork.
May time and chance happen to you.

May you be part of the 20% that makes it from grass to grace. If you can, please don't start from grass (go and sell your papa property 😩)

Sad Reality: 80% of intelligent people don't make
it from bottom to top despite their hardwork and smart work!

But that brokeness might actually not be your fault. You started from 'too low'.

You need more than hardwork and smart work to.
come out of that deep hole!

2. You must overload yourself with relevant organised knowledge that can give you an
edge in the corridors of power or market place

3. You need Social Capital.
Build Goodwill.
Build Networks
Build Relationships

And the Game of Thrones.
Master power dynamics.
Don't be naive!!

4. Behave yourself wisely.
Be deligent
Stay focused.
Delay gratification.
Re invest profits etc
 
Every young man should read this. Poverty is not only when there is no money in your pocket as we always think.

Sometimes a man can be earning money and still be living under poverty because the problem is not the money. The problem is the system of his life.

Poverty can be disorder, ignorance, fear, bad decisions, broken trust, laziness and poor relationships. Poverty can be violating principles and still expecting miracles.

That is why money can enter some people’s hands and still disappear because their habits, mindset, and decisions are fighting the blessing.

This is where I believe the church must help people more.

We should not only teach people how to pray against poverty. We must also teach people how to think out of poverty, work out of poverty, plan out of poverty, build value out of poverty, manage money out of poverty, and keep trust out of poverty.

Prayer is powerful, but prayer does not cancel principles.

You cannot pray for harvest and keep ignoring seed, soil, discipline, patience, and stewardship.

God can give a man power to make wealth, but the man must still train his mind, develop his skill, build character, manage money, and solve problems.

So maybe the poverty some people are fighting is not just in their pocket.

It is in their habits.
It is in their thinking.
It is in their relationships.
It is in their lack of value.
It is in their refusal to learn.
It is in the way they keep breaking the same principles that should lift them.

Until we cure that, money will come and still meet poverty waiting at the door.

This is why business education, financial wisdom, leadership, character, and spiritual growth must work together.

We need people who can pray and still think.

People who can speak in tongues and still understand value, cash flow, and keep records.

People who can receive prophecy and still obey process.

That is how poverty is broken permanently and not by noise every Sunday but through behavioural transformation.

Many people are broke and can't see 100k in a month.

If you are making 30k weekly, increase it to daily and then every minutes.
